Wohnhaft in Olten, studierte Islamwissenschaften und Geschichte in Basel und Bern, arbeitet als Texterin und Erwachsenenbildnerin im Migrationsbereich und ist Mutter einer Tochter.<\/p>\n

Publikationen in verschiedenen Literaturformaten, 2019 gewann sie den Schreibwettbewerb des Schweizer Schriftstellerwegs. Ihre Siegergeschichte ist im Buch \u00abDas Schaukelpferd in Bichsels Garten\u00bb (2021) erschienen.<\/p>\n

2023 erhielt sie von den Kantonen Baselland und Solothurn je den F\u00f6rderpreis Literatur sowie von der Hans und Beatrice Maurer-Billeter-Stiftung <\/span>den F\u00f6rderpreis Dreitannen. 2025 erhielt sie von der Stadt Olten der F\u00f6rderpreis des Oltner Kulturpreises.<\/span><\/p>\n

DIE DINGE BEIM NAMEN<\/h1>\n

Ein Dorf wie viele andere: Es gibt eine Selbstbedienungstankstelle, einen Dorfladen und einen Haufen Einfamilienh\u00e4uschen. Etwas ausserhalb wohnt die sch\u00f6ne Chantal, die eigentlich anders heisst und von Berufes wegen zu viel weiss. Die Kirche ist leer, das Wirtshaus voll. Die Dorfmusik probt \u00fcber dem Magazin der Feuerwehr. Kleine Dramen, grosses Geschw\u00e4tz. Der pensionierte Dorfpolizist Lysser h\u00fctet ein dunkles Geheimnis \u2013 und der Vollenweider schreibt das alles auf.<\/p>\n

Rebekka Salm erz\u00e4hlt zw\u00f6lf eng miteinander verwobene Geschichten zu einer \u2013 und alle sind sie wahr. So wahr Geschichten eben sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n
